  • 1/3 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 large stalks celery, chopped (about 1-1/4 cups)
  • 30 saltine crackers, coarsely broken (about 4 cups of crumbs)
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. ground sage
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth

    Melt margarine in large skillet on medium-high heat.

    Add onion and celery; cook and stir until crisp-tender.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Spoon into greased 1-1/2-quart casserole dish; cover.

    Bake 40 minutes or until heated through.
