- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 sleeve saltine crackers
- 1 bag chocolate chips
Directions

1Put butter in a nonstick saucepan to liquefy on low/medium heat.

2Add brown sugar and constantly stir until it thickens and caramelizes.

3Bring to a boil, then let it sit for 5 minutes NOT stirring.

4Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.

5Next, line with saltine crackers.

6Pour mixture over crackers and bake at 400° until mixture bubbles.

7Spread mixture evenly over crackers. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

8Put cookie sheet back in the oven until chocolate melts, then remove and smooth chips out.

9Put in the refrigerator until mixture hardens and cools.

10Break it out of the pan and store in container that is NOT airtight.
