  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 1/2 c. light raisins
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped

Directions

    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda into a bowl.

    Cut in margarine until crumbly.

    Add egg, peel and juice, all at once.

    Stir until moist.

    Fold in raisins and berries. Bake in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased pan at 350° for one hour and thirty minutes.
