- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 4 tablespoons hot water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup orange juice
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cardamom
- 2 cups cranberries, washed and picked through
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
Directions

1In a bowl mix together sugar, melted butter, hot water, eggs, and orange juice.

2In a separate bowl mix togehter flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cardamon, and cranberries.

3Gradually incorporate wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans.

4Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.

5Mix remaining sugar and juice; pour over baked loaves and bake 10 minutes more.
