  • 3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted twice
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
  • 1 c. shelled pecans

Directions

    Mix sugar, eggs, baking powder, butter and vanilla. Roll fruit in flour. Add flour and milk. Grate rind of 3 oranges. Add to mixture. Put cake mix in greased cake pan. Cook at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown.
