  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick, 3-4 inches
  • 6 -8 whole cloves
  • 6 -8 allspice berries
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger
  • 12 cup cider vinegar
  • 12 cup raisins
  • 1 apple, peeled and diced
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries

    Add brown sugar to 1 cup water and boil until dissolved.

    Add rest of ingredients and simmer until cranberry skins split.
