  • 4 cups Fresh Cranberries
  • 1-1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, Ground
  • 1/4 cups Calvados (Red Wine, Brandy Or Pomegranate Juice May Be Substituted)

    Rinse and sort cranberries to remove any soft or spoiled berries. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Bring just to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, until sauce is reduced to a syrupy consistency and berries are soft. Cool for 10 minutes and serve.
