Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce or whole cranberry sauce
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.

2Stir in raisins and nuts. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.

3Add to creamed mixture.

4Stir in cranberry sauce. Spoon into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

5Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
