Cranberry-Pear Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 medium pears, (Bosc, Bartlett or Anjou)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. finely shredded orange peel
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 c. cranberries
  • pastry for double crust pie
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, cut up

Directions

    Peel, core and slice pears (approximately 5 cups). In mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, orange peel and cinnamon.

    Add pears and cranberries; toss to coat.

    Set aside.
