  • 2/3 cup whipping cream
  • 1 orange, grated peel only
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal (see note in description)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk (I used 1% milk)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon black walnut flavoring (see note in description)
