Ingredients

  • 1 qt./pkg. cranberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 10 c. water (2 1/2 qt.)
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves

Directions

    Cook cranberries in 8 cups water (2 quarts) until they all pop.

    Then strain in colander reserving liquid and disregarding cranberries.

    Dissolve sugar in 2 cups water (1/2 quart).

    Add cloves and heat.
  5. 5
    Add all ingredients together.
  6. 6
    Serve hot.
