  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/3 c. baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 oz. chocolate baking squares
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. nuts

    Sift together flour, sugar, soda, cocoa and salt.

    Put in oblong cake pan.

    Make 3 holes in dry ingredients.

    Put 3/4 cup oil in one hole, 1 teaspoon vanilla in one hole and the other hole vinegar.

    Pour cold water over all.

    Mix with fork.

    Do not beat. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
