  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Place sugar and flour in large bowl.
  2. 2
    In saucepan, bring to boil oleo, water and cocoa.
  3. 3
    Pour over sugar and flour, beat well. Add the rest of the ingredients.

    Mix well and pour into a well buttered deep cookie sheet or 9 x 13 baking pan.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Five minutes before cake is done, cook icing to a boil.
