- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. Karo corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. popped corn
- 2/3 c. toasted pecans
- 1/3 c. toasted almonds
Directions

1Combine sugar, margarine and Karo syrup.

2Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

3Continue boiling, stirring occasionally, about 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns light caramel color (290°); stir in vanilla.

4Pour syrup over popped corn and nuts on baking sheet; toss with two large spoons until popcorn and nuts are coated.

5Spread out to dry.

6Break apart and store in tightly covered container.

7Makes about 1 pound.
