- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 c. popped corn
- 1 c. pecans
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar, margarine and corn syrup.

2Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

3Add nuts when thermometer reaches 245° and continue to cook and stir constantly until syrup reaches 290°.

4Add vanilla and pour over popped corn in large bowl.

5Mix with 2 large spoons until coated.

6Spread on a baking sheet or wax paper.

7Cool.

8Break apart.

9Store in a tightly covered container.
