  • 1/4 lb. butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (19 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 c. powdered sugar, unsifted
  • pinch of salt
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Combine melted butter, egg and cake mix.

    Spread in buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Combine softened cream cheese with 2 beaten eggs, brown sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt.

    Beat until smooth.

    Spread over cake mixture.

    Bake at 325° until cake is golden brown on top, approximately 45 minutes.

    Cut into small squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
