Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. sweet butter or unsalted margarine
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- approximately 1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions

1Allow the butter and cream cheese to soften at room temperature.

2Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese and sugar.

3Add the vanilla; mix well.

4Gradually add the flour, beating in thoroughly.

5Mix in the pecans.

6Drop from a teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.

7Decorate the tops with chocolate morsels, one for each cookie.

8Bake in a 375° oven for about 10 minutes.

9(The cookies should be very lightly browned.) Makes 8 dozen small cookies.
