- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 lb. powdered sugar
- few drops food coloring (optional)
- 1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. peppermint, wintergreen or lemon extract
Directions

1Combine cream cheese and butter.

2Add powdered sugar and stir until well combined. Add your choice of food coloring and flavoring.

3If desired, divide into two batches to make different colors and/or flavors.

4Roll into 1-inch balls.

5Place on a sheet of waxed paper.

6Press with fork.

7Let stand, uncovered, about 4 hours or overnight until mints are firm and outside is dry, but inside is still moist and creamy.
