- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 3 sticks butter (3/4 lb.)
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon
- 3 c. plain flour (1 lb.) or Softasilk cake flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar.

2Add flavoring.

3Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one.

4Sift together baking powder, salt and flour.

5Pour dry mix into eggs.

6Use a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake for 90 minutes at 325°, start in cold oven.
