  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 c. pecan halves (1/2 lb.)
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk

Directions

    Mix sugar, pecans and milk in heavy saucepan.

    Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (238°). Cool slightly and beat with spoon until mix begins to thicken.
