- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. boiling water
- 4 medium eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

3Melt margarine in water; bring to a boil.

4Remove from heat.

5Quickly add flour, using electric mixer.

6Mixture will be thick and pull away from the sides.

7Let cool 2 minutes, then add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each egg.

8Spread in greased baking dish.

9Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° for another 25 to 30 minutes.

10Do not open oven while baking.

11After time is up, turn off oven, open door slightly and leave pastry in oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

12This allows pastry to dry out.

13Let cool completely before filling.

14Fill with Cream Puff Filling.
