Ingredients
- 1 c. water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 whole eggs (room temperature)
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. flour
Directions

1Bring water and margarine to boil; heat until margarine is melted.

2Add salt, then dump in flour all at once.

3Over medium heat, stir constantly as mixture cooks.

4It will be done when the mass forms around the spoon (about 1 minute).

5Remove to mixing bowl.

6With beater at medium speed, beat in eggs, one at a time. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

7Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

8Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 15 minutes longer. Turn off oven.

9Prick each puff with cake wire and leave in oven, heat off, for 30 minutes.

10Cool thoroughly before filling.

11Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
