- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs (unbeaten)
- whipped cream
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Combine water, salt and butter in saucepan; bring to boiling point.

2Add flour all at once and cook, stirring constantly until mixture leaves the sides of the pan clean.

3Cool; add eggs, one at a time, beating each in thoroughly.

4Drop by tablespoon a little distance apart on greased baking sheets; bake in hot oven (450°) for 15 minutes.

5Reduce heat (350°) and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer.

6Puffs should bake until no beads of moisture can be seen on them.

7Cool; cut top out.

8Fill with whipped cream.

9Replace top.

10Dust with powdered sugar.
