- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sifted flour
- dash of salt
- 4 eggs
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 beaten eggs
- 6 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Dissolve sugar and yeast in lukewarm water; add milk, shortening and salt.

2Mix.

3Stir in flour (it may be necessary to add a little more flour to make the dough more easy to knead). Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

4Put by tablespoons into ungreased muffin tins (do not fill over 1/2) or you can put in baking pans and have them connected together.

5Let rise 30 minutes.

6Brush tops with butter and bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.
