- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Melt margarine in 1 cup boiling water.

2Add flour and salt all at once; stir vigorously.

3Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball that doesn't separate.

4Remove from heat; cool slightly.

5Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each until smooth.

6Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° until golden brown and puffy, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven; split.

7Cool for about an hour.

8Then they may be filled with homemade pudding or Thank You pie filling (canned), chocolate, vanilla or lemon.

9Then dust with confectioners sugar. Makes 32 to 36 small puffs.
