  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs

    Melt margarine in water.

    Add flour and salt all at once. Stir vigorously.

    Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball that doesn't separate.

    Remove from heat.

    Cool slightly.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each until smooth.

    Drop on greased sheet.

    Bake at 400° until brown and puffy, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven; split.
