- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Melt butter or oleo in water.

2When again boiling, add flour and salt.

3Stir rapidly until mixture cleans from sides of pan. Cool.

4Then add 1 egg at a time, beating until smooth after each one.

5After last egg, beat for 3 minutes.

6Drop by tablespoon on greased baking pan.

7Bake for 20 minutes in 450° oven, then turn oven down to 300°.

8Bake 30 minutes more.

9When cool, cut lid off, scoop out some inner pulp and fill with Minnesota Frosting (found in Cakes and Cookies section).

10Very good and inexpensive to make.
