- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 rounded Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- baked pie crust
Directions

1In saucepan, cover raisins with water; cook slowly until plumped and water is almost gone.

2Make mixture of sugar, salt, cornstarch and 1/4 cup milk.

3Add slightly beaten egg yolks.

4Add small amount of cornstarch mixture to raisins; stir.

5Alternately add remaining mixture and 3/4 cup milk; cook until thick.

6Add vanilla.

7Pour into a baked pie crust.

8Top with favorite meringue and bake at 350° until a golden brown.
