  • 4 or 5 full ears corn, cut off cob
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 stick margarine (more or less)
  • 1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. milk

Directions

    Cut corn off cob; put into saucepan.

    Add salt, sugar, 1/4 stick margarine, Crisco oil and water to just cover corn.

    Bring to boil and cook gently for about 20 minutes.
