- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 2 Tbsp. cold butter or margarine, cut into pieces
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can cream-style corn
Directions

1Mix flour, cornmeal and all dry ingredients together.

2Cut in butter with pastry blender.

3In large measuring cup, mix buttermilk, egg and corn.

4Stir into dry ingredients.

5Put into prepared muffin cups.

6Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.

7Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
