- 3 c. frozen peas
- 1 c. sliced scallions
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
- 3/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1In large saucepan, cook peas according to package directions. In another medium saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender but not brown.

2Blend in flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

3Add cream and lemon peel.

4Add Swiss cheese, cooking until melted.

5Put peas in serving bowl.

6Pour sauce over peas and serve.
