  • 1 can green peas, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Butter a casserole dish and set aside.

    Melt oleo in saucepan and fry onions until they soften.
  3. 3
    Add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk and stir until sauce thickens and boils.

    Remove from heat.

    Season and add peas.

    Stir well and pour into casserole and bake at 350° until hot, about 20 minutes.

    May be topped with bread crumbs if desired.
