- 2 lb. spinach
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- dash of garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. milk or light cream
Directions

1Wash spinach and cook without adding water until tender; drain and chop.

2Melt butter; blend in flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

3Add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add spinach and heat well.

4Makes 4 to 6 servings.
