  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Cook spinach in boiling water and salt for 10 minutes.

    Drain and set aside.

    In pan, melt Crisco.

    Add flour to make a roux. Add milk and cook until mixture thickens.

    Add spinach; stir thoroughly and heat.
