Creamed Veal

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. cubed veal
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 Tbsp. lard
  • 1 small bottle Heinz ketchup
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • salt and pepper to your taste
  • 3 c. water

Directions

    Take a deep frying pan, put in the lard and the onion which has been chopped fine and brown.

    Take the meat which has been washed and put it in the pan with 3 cups of water, salt and pepper and cook until meat is tender.

    Add ketchup and let simmer for 10 minutes.

    Take the milk and flour and put in a bowl.
  5. 5
    Beat until the flour is dissolved.
  6. 6
    Add to the meat in the pan and keep stirring until it comes to a boil and add more pepper.
