- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. light cream
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Butter side of heavy 2-quart saucepan.

2Combine sugars, cream, milk and butter.

3Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugars are dissolved and mixture comes to a boiling point, then cook to a soft ball stage (238°) or tested in cold water, stirring only if necessary.

4Remove from heat.

5Cool to lukewarm without stirring.

6Add vanilla and nuts; beat until very thick. Pour into buttered pan.

7Cut when cool.
