- 1/2 c. vinegar
- pinch salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix salt, cornstarch, sugar and vinegar.

2Bring sauce to a boil, stirring constantly.

3Lower heat and let simmer several minutes.

4Add butter to the sauce.

5Drain beets,

6add to the sauce and cook slowly until the beets are hot.

7Serve at once.
