Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. walnuts and Brazil nuts or 2 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine sugars and cream in saucepan.

    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugars are dissolved.

    Continue to cook over low heat until mixture reaches 246° or until drop of mixture in water forms firm ball.

    Remove from heat; add vanilla and nuts. Stir until light sugar coating begins to form on nuts.

    Move onto wax paper and separate nuts.
