Creamy Tuna Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 slices process American cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. Minute rice (uncooked)
  • 1 (9 1/4 to 12 1/4 oz.) can tuna
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)

Directions

    Bring water, milk, dill and salt to boil in medium saucepan on medium heat.

    Add cheese; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Stir in Minute rice, tuna and parsley.

    Cover.

    Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

    Stir and serve. Makes 4 servings.
