  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. fruit (peaches, berries, etc.)
  • 1 c. or less sugar

Directions

    Melt butter in deep dish.

    Mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Add milk and mix.

    Spoon over melted butter.

    Heat fruit with sugar and pour over dough.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Crust will be golden brown and will rise to the top.
