- 1 large onion, cut into rings
- 1 large green pepper, cut into strips
- 1 small hot pepper
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Saute the bacon in a large saucepan or skillet.

2In single layers, place the cabbage, onion, green pepper, hot pepper and tomato over bacon.

3Pour water over vegetables and simmer cabbage mixture very slowly until cabbage is clear and tender.
