  • 3 c. sliced carrots
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 tsp. granules
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sliced onions, separated into rings
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Place carrots and salt in saucepan containing about 1 inch boiling water.

    Simmer 20 minutes or until tender.

    Drain, reserving liquid.

    Add hot water to liquid to make 1 cup. Dissolve bouillon in carrot liquid and set aside.
