- 3 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 tsp. granules
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. sliced onions, separated into rings
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Place carrots and salt in saucepan containing about 1 inch boiling water.

2Simmer 20 minutes or until tender.

3Drain, reserving liquid.

4Add hot water to liquid to make 1 cup. Dissolve bouillon in carrot liquid and set aside.
