Creole Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 pork chops (fat ones)
  • 1 c. rice (uncooked)
  • 2 c. water
  • tomato, onion and green pepper

Directions

    Brown chops after sprinkling with salt, pepper and paprika in very little fat (enough to barely cover bottom of pan).

    Leave in skillet and add rice and water over chops.
  3. 3
    Place 1 slice each of tomato, onion and green pepper on chops.
  4. 4
    Cover and cook on low 45 minutes.
