Ingredients

  • 1 c. each chopped onion, celery and green pepper
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 2 cans Italian style chopped tomatoes
  • 1 c. red wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. large prawns

Directions

    Cook fresh vegetables in olive oil until slightly wilted.

    Add all seasonings.

    Add red wine and tomatoes. Add cleaned and shelled uncooked prawns.

    Cook 3 to 5 minutes.
