Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. rendered bacon fat
- 6 Tbsp. minced onion
- 6 Tbsp. chopped green bell pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. chopped stewed tomatoes
- 1/8 c. tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 7 oz. frozen, peeled and deveined shrimp
Directions

1In large frying pan, brown flour in bacon drippings.

2Stir tomatoes, tomato sauce, minced onion, green pepper, parsley, garlic, water, salt and pepper into flour-oil mixture.

3Bring sauce to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

4Cook 20 minutes.

5Add shrimp to mixture and cook 10 minutes longer.
