- 1/2 lb. oleo
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. unbleached ceresota flour
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar, vanilla and water.

2Sift flour and salt together, then add in butter mixture.

3Add pecans and mix thoroughly.

4Using portions the size of walnuts, roll into crescent shaped cookies.

5Bake for 20 minutes at 325°.

6While warm, roll in confectioners sugar.

7(Mix will look like cornmeal and these cookies will not rise or turn brown.)
