  • 1/2 lb. or 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 5 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. water

    Cream butter.

    Add sugar, vanilla and water.

    Sift flour and salt, then add to mixture and stir.

    Add pecans and mix.

    Sprinkle with sugars and decorations.

    Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and roll in confectioners sugar 2 times.
