Crescent Pecan Pie Bars

- 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerator rolls
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.

2Separate crescent dough into 2 large rectangles.

3Press rectangles to bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of greased pan to form a crust.

4Press to seal perforations.

5Bake crust at 375° for 5 minutes.

6Combine egg, pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla in bowl.

7Mix and pour over partially baked crust.

8Bake at 375° for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

9Cool and cut into bars.

10Makes 2 dozen 4 x 2-inch bars.
