Crescent Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerator rolls
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Separate crescent dough into 2 large rectangles.

    Press rectangles to bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of greased pan to form a crust.

    Press to seal perforations.

    Bake crust at 375° for 5 minutes.

    Combine egg, pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla in bowl.

    Mix and pour over partially baked crust.

    Bake at 375° for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool and cut into bars.

    Makes 2 dozen 4 x 2-inch bars.
