- 6 lb. cukes or 6 qt.
- 1 lb. white onions (1 1/2 c.)
- 3 large garlic cloves or chips
- 1/3 c. salt
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. vinegar
Directions

1Mix cukes, white onions, garlic cloves or chips and salt. Cover with ice and let stand for 3 hours.

2Drain.

3Combine the sugar, turmeric, celery seed, mustard seed and vinegar; heat to boiling.

4Add cukes and heat to boiling.

5Pack in pints jars. Process in hot water for 5 minutes.
