- 2 cups sifted enriched flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 14 cup shortening, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 12 cup crispy chopped bacon or 12 cup boiled ham
Directions

1Heat oven to 400F.

2Sift together dry ingredients.

3Seperatly, mix shortening, egg, and milk.

4Add in chopped ham or bacon bits.

5Combine mixtures into one.

6Stir just enough to dampen the flour.

7Pour batter into greased muffin tins, 2/3 full.

8Bake 25 minutes.
